The Wagga Wagga Kangaroos Junior Rugby League Football Club is proud to be one of the original Junior Rugby League clubs of Wagga Wagga.
It all started in 1959 when Junior Rugby League began and the Panthers and Midget teams were formed catering to the need for young boys to play sport. In 1964, the Panthers team became so strong in numbers that they decided to form a club.
In 1964 the Wagga Kangaroos Senior Rugby League Club took the Panthers under their wing and the “Kangaroo Panthers” evolved. On December 13th 1999, The Kangaroo Panthers executive decide that it was time to make a change to the name of the club and since that time have been named Wagga Wagga Kangaroos Junior Rugby League Club Inc.
Wagga Wagga Kangaroos Juniors have an impressive list of past players who have played for Australia, NSW State of Origin, NSW Country and also in the NRL Football Competition.
